Travels through the east

Before I do I just wanted to let you know that the pictures I've attached (above) were taken out front. Although you see the beauty daily I thought you still would enjoy them. As you know already, our family had one of the best experiences of our lives
during our stay in Kauai. Your accommodations were a major part of that. Before I get into specifics, I have to say that Tyme was incredible. Your dad (the owner) was really friendly and wonderful too. And of course all of our correspondences with you have been just awesome.
Here are a few specific things we jotted down when we were there...

The Hale:
What we loved:
-The Kauai map, pictures, books and calender. Especially loved the kids
books (we ended up buying quite a few to bring home).
- The beach towels and linens were of a wonderful quality.
- the beds were extremely comfortable to sleep in.
- Loved the décor, spaciousness, and cleaniness.
- dynamite master suite and bathroom (and the fact there were three
bathrooms (that I didn't have to clean :)))
- The beautiful yard was great to run around in.
- supplying body wash, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc. was
appreciated.
- the gate on the balcony was perfect for not having kids fall down the
stairs.
- the patio furniture and lawn furniture were high quality and comfy.
- the kitchen was extremely well equipped (since we ate all breakfasts,
dinners, and most lunches there).
- the cookbook was great and we even tried a recipe from it - delicious mac.
Nut chicken.
- could do laundry.
- the gift basket rocked.
- you even had tupperware containers for leftovers.
- clear but kind instructions for what your expectations were.
- clear info re: who to contact and what to do in case of an emergency
- overall fantastic hale to spend with family.

I stayed at PBH in June 07 with my son (23) and his girl friend. for 10 days .It was so delightful for all of us that I booked for Jan08 for another type of vacation. One with my 86 year old mother! Again I couldn't not have been more serene( and with my mother that's a demanding challenge)! So I am coming again in June with another assortment of ages and temperments. Myself (naturally) my husband, his sister and her husband.I want to say that each time I open the door to PBH it's ahhhhhhh all over again. Mahalo for such a wonderful place to call home. Oh yes I think my son, girlfriend and I will be making plans for next Feb 09!! Odette

Another wonderful vacation in paradise. Nature at its best. Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. House is great and the view is marvelous. Looking forward already to next year. Jeannette & Family.

What a great break from the cool rains of northern California. The weather was absolutely great...Swimming & belly-boarding and hiking were a blast. Linda managed to get in all the sun she could handle plus good shopping... Highlights of the trip were: Allerton Garden tour, hiking Gillins beach (east of Hyatt hotel), a day in Hanalei, Polihale Beach-15 miles of white sand and always sunny, old Hanapepe town (find the swinging bridge), evening stroll to the Hyatt. Wonderful birthday and Anniversary celebrations! Great food at the Beach House. Toured North Shore, West Side and places in between. Whale watched, shopped, sun bathed, snorkled and scuba trips. Every day was full. The house was a delight to stay at.

Wonderful week. Horseback riding at Silvertalls Stable, drove entire island. Great snorkeling at local beach across from Brennecke's and at Ke'e Beach (end of the road on the North shore). Raft trip to NaPali coast-quite an adventure. Enjoyed seafood buffet at Sheraton Kauai. Great remote beach at end of Poipu Road (two miles) turn right. We loved the house. It was perfect for our family of four. Thank you for our wonderful week-the flowers were a great welcoming touch! Mahalo--The Deans
P.S. left beach chairs & fins in downstairs closet.
